"Job has multiple executions" status for RoadCallUp background job and job restart not allowed

Problem:

Sometimes the RoadCallUp background job displays in red in the Background Jobs view, with the status Job has multiple executions. When this occurs, N4 does not allow you to halt and restart the background job. You have to wait until the status changes to Job is currently being executed.

Possible Solution:

Try increasing the value in the ROADCALLUP001 (CLLUP_INTERVAL) (on page 1) setting to allow for more time between background jobs. Follow the following steps:

  1. Halt the background job RoadCallup.

  1. Make sure all pending trucks are cleared from the lanes.

  2. Make sure there's no deadlock traces in the lock or in the database.

  3. Reset ROADCALLUP001 (CLLUP_INTERVAL) (on page 1). Try setting it to 60 seconds to see if this solves the problem.
